Kockney Koi Yamitsu PVC Pipe Solvent Cement provides a low VOC glue for PVC plastic pipework and fittings. Ideal for use with PVC-U, PVC-M and PVC-O pipework Yamitsu PVC Pipe Solvent Cement will create strong, leak free joints allowing you to complete your pipework project with confidence. Supplied complete with an integral applicator for easy use. For best bonding results use in conjunction with Kockney Koi Yamitsu Universal Pipe Cleaner.
Application Instructions:
- Shake well before use.
- Cut pipe squarely, remove all pipe shavings from inner and outer edges.
- Lightly abrade contact surfaces with emery cloth.
- Clean joining surface using Kockney Koi Yamitsu Universal Pipe Cleaner.
- Check dry fit of pieces.
- Using the applicator apply a full, even layer of cement to both surfaces.
- Immediately push pieces together to the full depth and hold for 30 seconds.
- Quickly remove any excess cement.
- Reseal container immediately after use.
- Leave joint undisturbed for 10 minutes and allow a minimum of 6 hours at normal ambient temperature before putting into service.
