Planning for your horse’s health

We believe in a proactive, preventative approach to your horse’s healthcare. We know how important your horse’s health is to you and we want to help you keep them happy and healthy for longer. This is why we have designed these Equine Health Plans.

An equine health plan makes it easier for you to protect your horse against preventable diseases, dental discomfort and parasites. Regular check ups and early diagnosis of any potential health issues will help your horse enjoy a long, comfortable life, whilst saving you money and worry too.

Equine Health Plans are not insurance: Equine Health Plans include the regular things like vaccinations, worm egg counts, health checks and advice in an easy monthly payment plan – these are the things which insurance doesn’t cover. However young or old your horse, our Equine Health Plan is designed to adapt to your horse’s needs.

An Equine Health Plan is a simple and affordable way to get all of the preventative care that our practice recommends for your horse. For the horse or pony needing that extra input we now have the option of the ‘extra’ package. This will be particularly useful for older equine or those on long term medication.

Note:
1. The practice may require you to make an up-front payment or pay for treatment before the plan commences.
2. If you cancel any time other than on an anniversary of joining the plan, you will be required to pay the practice either the outstanding amount for treatment received, or the monthly payments due until the anniversary of your plan, whichever is lower.
3. No refunds are payable for any months paid before a horse’s death except at the discretion of the practice.
