The Practice Plan Extra is a subscription service that covers routine preventative pet care with a monthly fee, so you never pay for everyday treatments and save money.

You receive unlimited consultations with vets and nurses, vaccinations for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats, kennel cough vaccine, and discounts off microchipping, dental procedures, prescriptions and neutering. There’s also 24/7 access to vet advice via VidiVet.

Pay-as-you-go prices include:

• Puppy vaccination: from £99
• Kitten vaccination: from £95
• Annual boosters: £76 (dog), £78 (cat)
• Dog spay: from £430, castration from £330
• Cat spay from £147, castration £105
• Dental from £299, prescriptions £31.59, out-of-hours surcharge £179–£210

With the plan, members either pay nothing at all or receive discounts on these services.

Yes. If you plan to use routine care regularly, the plan often results in lower overall costs and gives you the peace of mind of no surprise bills.

Absolutely. If you don’t join the plan, you can still access all services at standard prices.

Each pet needs its own plan subscription. You can sign multiple pets under individual plans.

The plan is designed to adapt to your pet’s changing needs as they take their first steps to adulthood and throughout their senior years with you.

Yes, just speak to reception and they will make the change for you. If you’re switching to a lesser plan you may need to pay the difference between any products and services your pet has received and the amount you have paid for your plan.
