After graduation Alex worked in mixed practice in the west of Scotland and then Australia, before coming to Thrums. He has a keen interest in small animal surgery, especially orthopaedics and is able to perform many procedures that would otherwise require referral. Outside of work Alex used to enjoy football, brewing beer and hill walking, but now spends most of his free time wrangling toddlers.
