Scone Practice is now Open
The feedback we have had from the first few visits has been excellent. We are really pleased that so many of you have taken the time to come and say hello and have a look around. If you’ve not been in, please give us a call and we can book you in (we are taking lots of precautions to keep eveyone Covid safe).
We have been fully booked some afternoons and it’s been especially pleasing for everyone to have some lovely pups and kittens in.
We were asked recently if we have any targets for the practice and on reflection we do. We have 3 targets.
To look after our patients, look after our clients and look after our team.
We think that if we can do these 3 things well, we will be fine.
One of the benefits of being a small independent practice is that we don’t have sales targets set in a distant corporate office. If you want to buy a bag of dog food, a tick treatment or a wormer from us, that is very much appreciated but that’s not what we are all about. We want to look after animals and their people.
Another benefit of being independent is that we can run our own out of hours service so that you will always see a Thrums vet, locally, who has access to full clinical records, any time of day or night. We have someone on call 24 hours a day, every single day.
Hopefully you will never need this out of hours service, but it is reassuring to know we have someone there to help, if you need us.
We love caring for animals so if you have any friends who you think would appreciate a local practice with these values, please help us spread the word by liking and share this post.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon.
