We’re the only locally owned, independent vets in Perth, and we opened our Scone branch in 2020, purpose-built to provide a happy and safe environment for our patients, and giving us the flexibility to tailor our service and care to meet your pets needs.
We try our best to keep your pet’s visit to the vet positive. We have separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs, and separate cat and dog wards with soft luxurious bedding designed to minimise the stress caused to our inpatients when they spend the day with us. We offer puppy health checks with our nurses to help get the little ones more confident in the vets and make it a positive experience for everyone. You are always welcome to pop in to help build the confidence of your pet, and our large waiting room has plenty of space for everyone. We use pheromone diffusers in the practice to reduce stress and we have little cat castles in the cat ward so your feline friend has somewhere to hide and feel safe.
We always make the effort to engage with our local community, and are happy to treat local wildlife free of charge if you bring them in, as well as liaising with the SSPCA to ensure the best outcome for the animals.

Our Practice Plan is designed to spread the cost of preventative care across a monthly direct debit. Our Practice Plan Extra goes one step further, allowing us to provide the highest standard of care to our patients, including unlimited free consultations with our vets and nurses. That’s right – plan members can visit our practice as often as they like, and they won’t be charged for consultations!

If your pet becomes unwell or has an injury, getting them the treatment they need – rather than the treatment you can afford at the time — can be vital. That’s why we’ve partnered with Pet Proactive. Together, we’re offering simple to understand and fairly priced lifetime insurance, bespoke to our clients, which reflects our pricing and the level of care we aim to offer your pet.
Our newest branch in Scone opened in 2020 and is a fully equipped small animal branch, caring for the pets of Scone, Perth and the surrounding area. Scone is the base of 2 vets, 2 nurses and 2 reception and administration staff.

Veterinary care in Scone – what pet owners should know
We offer a full range of veterinary care including consultations, diagnostic imaging (X‑ray and ultrasound), in-house laboratory testing, dental care, neutering and surgery, nurse-led clinics such as weight management, dental checks and puppy socials, and grooming.
Yes – we’re always happy to welcome new clients and their pets to our practice.
You can register your pet online through our website or simply book an appointment and we’ll register you when you visit. If you have any questions, you can call our Scone team on 01738 505122 to get set up.
Yes – you can book appointments online, through PetsApp or by calling us. We offer flexible morning, afternoon and early evening slots.
We aim to offer same-day appointments where possible. For emergency or urgent care we provide our own 24/7 service – we don’t outsource to a third party.

Yes – we have a spacious on-site car park and our premises are fully wheelchair accessible.
No – while we offer consultations, surgery, nurse clinics and shop items at Scone, any overnight hospitalisation is arranged at our Blairgowrie or Kirriemuir branches.
We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, poultry and reptiles.
We provide our own 24/7 emergency service with our own vets always on call – not a third-party provider.
Yes – our nurses run clinics for weight management, dental health, puppy social sessions and more.
Yes – you can use PetsApp to message our team directly and access video consultations for non-urgent advice or follow-ups.
