Cat Identichip
idENTICHIP® is a tiny microchip (about the size of a grain of rice) with a unique 15 digit identity code. The microchip is implanted quickly and easily by one of our a vets or veterinary nurses.
idENTICHIP® is suitable for all pets regardless of age or breed and if you have more than one pet each one can be separately microchipped and identified.
How it works…
idENTICHIP® is the only microchip fitted with the patented Bio Bond® anti migration collar ensuring that once implanted it is always in the same place to be scanned.
The idENTICHIP® remains electronically inactive until scanned by a microchip scanner used routinely by vets, rescue kennels, police and dog wardens to detect the unique identity code of your pets microchip.
All idENTICHIP® microchips are registered on the ANIBASE® Pet Database where your records can be accessed 24/7, 365 days a year ensuring whatever the day, date or time your pet can always be traced back to their home.
In Angus dogs uplifted as strays are taken to the council’s contract kennel and will not be released to the owner until the statutory charges have been paid, that is £25 administration fee plus £9.20 (including VAT) per day kenneling charges. If your dog is chipped then it will be easily identified, they would be able to contact you via details from ANIBASE and there would be no charge.
